Plumbing Apprentiships

A plumbing apprentiship will last up to four years. Training in spent either in the classroom of your local collage where you'll be plumbing theory and working alongside an experienced plumber to gain valuable practical knowledge.

During a plumbing apprentiship you will take a certificate in basic plumbing skills. This certificate covers health and safety, hot and cold water systems, central heating and sanitation.

Every year there is always a limited number of plumbing apprentiship places and competition is intense. Sometimes it pays to call local plumbing firms and ask whether they'd be interested in taking you on as an apprentice.

If you are interested in furthering your plumbing skills than an advanced plumbing apprentiship will help to develop your plumbing career to a higher level.

During your plumbing apprentiship you can expected to paid a basic salary of at least £100 or more.

There are no formal qualifications to begin a plumbing apprentiship. However, if you're over the age of twenty five then you may find it difficult to get onto an apprenticeship scheme.

On completion of your plumbing apprentiship you will be a fully qualified and experienced plumber. You will also have achieved a NVQ Level 3 to show for it.

A plumbing apprentiship will cover training of many plumbing systems including their components and installation.

If you are planning to work abroad then a plumbing apprentiship will allow you to gain a qualification that is recognized internationally in no less than twenty seven countries.
