It’s important to know what sort of plasterer you are looking for as plasterers will tend to specialise in certain areas of the trade.

There are some common problems linked with drywall plastering and these are blisters on the plastering, and the tape also tends to fall off at places.

The weather during plastering and rendering may have considerable influence on the finished work.

Plastering jobs are not difficult for a plasterer to find, because it requires special skills and plastering jobs are required all the time.

Due of its pliable nature plaster can be manipulated to fit into just about any nook or cranny.

The City Guilds has an entire training centre called Able Skills, where plastering is the main subject taught. There is a course to suit each person's needs, whether you are a beginner or coming in to learn some advanced technology of plastering.

Plastering is enjoying resurgence in popularity due to the introduction of new techniques and cheaper materials.

All stilts have adjustable legs and because it allows internal movement, it increases the stability.

As with painting, plastering needs a base coat. This base/undercoat may need building up in 2 layers depending on the condition of the walls and the thickness of plaster needed to improve them.

Contaminated plaster can't be used and will need to be disposed of  costing time and money.
