Wind Power Design

Wind power generators are machines that convert wind energy to electrical power. The only required fuel is wind and is therefore free, natural and unlimited.

Wind power is way cheaper when compared to other traditional sources of power. Hence, wind power kits are growing more and more popular as greater numbers of people are starting to prefer wind energy over other energy sources.

Aside from the manufacturing process, wind power emits absolutely no greenhouse gases.

If the output produced by the wind turbine exceeds the draw from the structure (and/or storage devices, like batteries), the excess power is then sold back to the pubic utility company.

The unique problem of people not desiring to look up at or listen to wind power turbines all day every day has become a bit of an issue. Where the issue is likely to be decided is in more urban areas where the use of wind turbines is just commencing to creep in.

Wind power is the world’s fastest growing energy source, averaging a 30% growth per year.

In the USA wind power is very competitive, providing energy at a cheaper rate than the average electricity retail price.

A key issue debated about wind power is its ability to scale to meet a substantial portion of the world's energy demand.

It’s becoming ever likely that wind power will be an important means of generating electricity worldwide.

As the speed of the wind turning the wind power turbines increases the amount of power the turbine produces increases as well.
