Windpower Renewables

The ownership of the wind energy system by a utility service, as opposed to individual ownership, can also pull down costs by large amounts.

If the output produced by the wind turbine exceeds the draw from the structure (and/or storage devices, like batteries), the excess power is then sold back to the pubic utility company.

It is ironic, but wind power seems to be going full circle, from small-scale local generation through large-scale national projects and back to small scale again, with governments and multinationals having little say in the matter: a true democratisation of energy supply

Wind power generators are machines that convert wind energy to electrical power. The only required fuel is wind and is therefore free, natural and unlimited.

The theory behind the wind power generator is simple. For windmills, the wind rotates the rotor blades to operate a pump or other mechanical systems.

Residential wind powers works in the way of having a wind turbine attached on top of a high tower so that the wind turbine can collect the kinetic energy and change this kinetic energy into electricity.

Solar radiations emit a type of energy, which result in creation of wind.

The devices that generate mechanical energy from wind power resources are called wind mills.

Designed to complement or even replace conventional power stations, wind farms supply power to the grid for distribution to domestic and commercial users.

Because wind power generation uses a natural and inexhaustible source of power to produce electricity, it should be considered an essential factor of any long-term energy plan.
